Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to every developer, organization and end customer using Connect.
Prohibited
- Spam, unsolicited messages or messaging people who have not opted in.
- Ignoring opt-out requests such as "STOP" or equivalent.
- Content or commerce prohibited by WhatsApp Business and Meta commerce policies.
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, harassment or illegal activity.
- Attempts to access data of other organizations, projects or environments.
- Sharing, publishing or embedding API keys in client-side code.
- Reverse engineering, overloading or circumventing rate limits of the service.
Opt-in and opt-out
You must collect clear, documented opt-in before initiating conversations and provide an easy way to opt out. Records must be available on request.
Enforcement
Violations may result in throttling, suspension or termination. Meta may independently restrict accounts or phone numbers.
